About us

The Garden Room is hosted by Brian and Marilyn Simmons and has been
open since 2002.
Brian and Marilyn are both local people having lived in Surrey all their
lives and are able to answer any questions about things to see and
do in the area and especially about good places to eat and drink.
Marilyn, a former housing officer now works part time in the local tourist office.
Brian was  police officer in Surrey for many years and although now
retired from the police he is kept very busy as a part-time handyman
doing odd jobs for people in and around the village in addition to looking
after their Bed and Breakfast guests.
